Posting Guide
Everything you need to know about how BoostLocal creates and publishes posts for your business.
How automated posting works
BoostLocal uses AI to generate social media posts on your behalf. The system selects the highest-scored photo from your content library, generates a caption that matches your brand voice, and queues the post for your next scheduled slot. You review and approve before anything goes live.
- AI selects photos based on quality scores
- Captions are generated in your configured brand voice
- Posts are queued according to your schedule
- Nothing publishes without your approval (unless auto-post is enabled)
Posting schedule
You control how often BoostLocal posts. Set the number of posts per week and pick preferred days and times from the Settings page. BoostLocal will distribute posts evenly across your chosen slots.
You can adjust the schedule at any time. Changes take effect on the next scheduling cycle.
Approval workflow
When a post is ready, BoostLocal sends it for your approval through two channels:
- Telegram: Receive a message with the photo, caption, and approve/reject buttons. Tap to approve in seconds.
- Dashboard: View pending posts in the Content Calendar, edit captions if needed, then approve or reject.
Auto-post vs. manual approval
By default, posts require manual approval. If you prefer a hands-off approach, enable auto-post in Settings. With auto-post on, generated posts will publish automatically at the scheduled time without waiting for approval.
You can still review and cancel auto-posted content from the Content Calendar before its scheduled time.

Content calendar
The Content Calendar gives you a visual overview of scheduled, pending, published, and rejected posts. Use it to reschedule posts, edit captions, or swap photos before publishing.
Photo scoring and selection
Every photo in your content library receives an AI quality score from 1 to 10. The score considers composition, lighting, relevance, and clarity. When generating a post, BoostLocal prioritizes unused photos with the highest scores.
