Getting Started
Follow these steps to set up BoostLocal and publish your first automated post.
- 1
Create your account
Sign up with Google OAuth. Click "Get Started" on the homepage and authenticate with your Google account. No separate password needed — your Google login is your BoostLocal login.
What to expect: You will land on the onboarding screen immediately after signing in.
- 2
Set up your business profile
Enter your business name, select a category (restaurant, salon, gym, etc.), write a short description, and provide your address. This information is used to tailor AI-generated content to your business.
What to expect: Your profile card will appear on the dashboard with the details you entered.
- 3
Connect Google Drive for photos
Link a Google Drive folder that contains your business photos. BoostLocal will scan and score your images so the best ones are selected for posts. You can also upload photos directly or share an upload link with your team.
What to expect: Your photos will appear in the Content library, each with a quality score.
- 4
Connect social accounts
Connect the platforms you want to post to: Instagram, Facebook, Google Business Profile, and YouTube. Each platform has a guided OAuth flow. You only need to connect the ones you use.
What to expect: Connected platforms will show a green checkmark on the Integrations page.
- 5
Set your posting schedule
Choose how many times per week you want to post and pick preferred days and times. BoostLocal will automatically generate and queue posts on your schedule.
What to expect: Upcoming posts will appear on the Content Calendar.
- 6
Configure your brand voice
Define the tone and style for AI-generated captions. You can choose from presets (professional, friendly, witty) or write custom instructions. The AI will match this voice across all generated content.
What to expect: Sample captions on the dashboard will reflect your chosen voice.
- 7
Connect Telegram for approvals
Link your Telegram account so you can approve or reject posts directly from your phone. When a post is ready, you will receive a message with a preview and approve/reject buttons.
What to expect: A test message will be sent to your Telegram to confirm the connection.
- 8
Your first automated post
Once everything is connected, BoostLocal will generate your first post using your best-scored photo and brand voice. Review it on the dashboard or via Telegram, approve it, and it will be published to your connected platforms.
What to expect: Your first post will go live on the platforms you connected.
